Refund, Returns & Cancellation

1. Subscriptions

StructOrder is a subscription service, billed in advance (monthly or annual).

2. Cancellation

Cancel anytime from account settings — one click, no "suspend" holds. Takes effect at period end; access continues until then. Export allowed during the 30-day retention window.

3. Refunds

Within 14 days of a new subscription (not a renewal), full refund if not substantially used (substantial use = more than 3 manuscripts analyzed). Renewals non-refundable once the new period begins, except where law requires (e.g. EU/UK cooling-off). Annual plans: pro-rated refunds not offered outside the 14-day window.

4. Failed payments

Retried per Stripe. While a payment issue is unresolved, write access pauses — you cannot make new changes or use features other than downloading your archives — but your existing work stays fully readable and exportable. We retain your data for 90 days from the first failed attempt so you can return and export at any time; after that, the account may be closed and data removed per the retention policy.

5. Disputes

Billing disputes: support@structorder.com, within 5 business days. Unresolved: pursue card issuer / consumer route.
